Acorn Hog Roast are a mobile catering company based in Darlington, County Durham, we serve Newcastle, Northumberland and the North East of England. We are proud to supply spit roast catering to the events industry and also to smaller private parties and functions. We also cater for other events, such as surprise parties, family gatherings, sporting events, christenings and many more.

 Acorn Hog Roast’s speciality is the basting and roasting of whole pigs for outdoor events, parties and functions. To create our delicious end product we cook each pig slowly for a period of 8 hours in our purpose built hog roast ovens and then serve the succulent, melt in your mouth meat with apple sauce, sage and onion stuffing and very crispy crackling. We serve our hog roast on a large doughy flat bread from the North East of England called a ‘stottie’, or a white floured roll.
